Senior Technical Project Manager & Regional Operations Manager (AI)

Your Role

As Technical Project Manager & Regional Operations Manager at Attercop you’ll lead regional operations and project delivery for our offices in North Macedonia (Skopje & Tetovo). This hybrid role, reporting to the UK-based Senior Leadership Team (SLT), combines the responsibilities of a Technical Project Manager and an Operations Manager. You’ll be a hands-on leader, driving efficient operations in the regional offices and guiding a multidisciplinary team of talented Consultants, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and MLOps specialists, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client goals. Through doing this, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of AI across some of the UK and Europe’s most innovative industries.

Key Responsibilities:


Project Management

  • Requirements Gathering: Support and facilitate clients and stakeholders in identifying and clarifying requirements using techniques such as workshops, interviews, and prioritisation sessions.
  • Project Planning: Create and manage task backlogs, detailed plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Delivery Oversight: Monitor deliverables to ensure quality, track and manage project progress against time, budget and milestones, adapting plans as needed to meet objectives and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Set up and lead meetings with stakeholders, technical experts, and internal teams to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Client Communication: Be the first line of contact with the client for all project-related communications
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure clarity, continuity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Post-Project Review: Facilitate post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and key takeaways for continuous improvement.
  • Process management: Adhere to and ensure adherence to Attercop project delivery processes.
  • Team Enablement: Promote teamwork, group cohesion, and collaboration to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and adherence to Attercop’s delivery standards, maintaining focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Operations Management

Working closely with the UK-based SLT, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensuring the office complies with health,
  • Regional Office Management: Managing the day-to-day operations of the small regional offices, ensuring that all administrative and operational functions run smoothly.
  • Regional Office Logistics: Overseeing office logistics, including managing office supplies, equipment, and space utilisation to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Financial Oversight: Preparing and managing office budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals. Tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all regional operations are compliant with company policies, industry standards, and relevant local and UK legal requirements.
  • Operational Processes: Implementing, maintaining, and optimising operational processes to improve office efficiency, reduce costs, and support team collaboration.
  • Employee Support: Managing office-related HR functions, including office onboarding, helping to maintain employee records, and supporting team members with any operational or administrative needs.
  • Recruitment. Assisting in the recruitment process.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex technical projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of operations management experience, including overseeing office operations, managing budgets, and optimising resources and processes.
  • Track record in managing data projects with cross-functional teams, delivering on time and within budget
  • Masters and/or undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with agile and waterfall project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • A strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, tools, and frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
